Politico has posted a list of the Obama Administration's "Czars." The list includes about 30 "czars."
Shouldn't this type of responsibility normally be under the purview of the cabinet secretaries/departments?
Is the President trying to do an end-run around the checks and balances of the Constitution? After all, these "czars" do not have to be confirmed by the Congress and answer only to the President.
Even the word itself, "czar, " doesn't exactly have a democratic ring to it.
The time seems to have arrived when cabibets are'nt necessary. The president and his "Czars" are all he needs to which I say no way ever. My hour of Eucharistic Adoration is for the correction of our president's wrongs.
