The New Translation of the Mass

In the video below, Fr. Robert Barron discusses the new translation of the Catholic Mass.

In his typically wonderful way, he explains the reasons for the changes and compares examples between the old and new translations. He argues that the new version is much more "courtly" and "elegant" and "poetic" and therefore more appropriate for prayer to our heavenly "King" than the very casual language used in the current version.
